Relax™ GelCell Wheelchair Cushion is a unique combination of AIR plus GEL technology that effectively provides pressure relief and comfort for high-risk users. Cushion has 34 interconnected air-filled cells, each covered with a layer of pressure-relieving, silicone-based TRUGEL. When pressure is applied, air circulates to each cell, distributing weight evenly, thus reducing high-pressure concentrations around bony prominences. The GelCell can be easily and quickly adjusted to the comfort of the user. Stretchy and breathable cover with anti-slip base reduces the effects of shear and helps support good posture.
