Aphasia Diagnostic Profiles (ADP) by Nancy Helm-Estabrooks A quick, efficient and systematic method of assessing language and communication impairment associated with aphasia. Designed to meet the needs of the medical climate. Nine brief subtests create composite scores while profiles address critical areas of the client’s performance. The severity profile indicates overall severity and specific strengths and weaknesses. Identifies the client’s strongest response modalities to help guide therapy. Error profiles identify the communication value of a client’s response. Behavioral profile indexes the client’s overall social-emotional state during testing. Administered in 40 to 50 minutes.
