Small Rectangles are best for positioning head in supine, lateral, Fowler’s, Trendelenburg, and Reverse Trendelenburg. Also use to support and position extremities.

Medium and Large Rectangles elevate the body to offload pressure on the shoulder when placed under the torso. Ideal for Fluoroscopy and for lateral decubitus positioning, especially in Radiology, and in making lumbar punctures. Also use this therapeutic positioning body pillow for supine and prone.

Caution: Procedures at less than 60vKp may produce slightly visible lines on edges of x-ray positioning sponges. Always position the patient so the edge of the block will not be in the image field of concern. When tested at low attenuation of 80kVp, results indicate an aluminum equivalency of 1%.
