Reduces pressure as well as skin shear, and lengthens the life of the surface because it’s not in direct contact with patient’s skin. Perfect for orthopedic, thoracic, or urology procedures with patient in the lateral position, as well as for total hip replacements and liver/kidney procedures due to its shear-reducing properties. Compatible with your Olympic Medical Vac-Pacs or AliMed Bean Bag Positioners (sold separately).
