A-Flex Plus Protective Headgear Flexible plastic readily conforms to varying head shapes – easy to fit on demand. Absorbs shock across the entire surface without cracking or penetrating. Headgear is equipped with easy-to-adjust straps, minimizing the need for chinstraps. Posterior strap “locks” below the mastoids and accommodates size variations, while side straps are used to aid in putting on and taking off the helmet. Use of side straps and side slits is optional. Ventilation holes help reduce trapped heat. Trims easily with scissors. Blue, Pink, or White. Optional Chin Strap sold separately.

Clinical indications: Postoperative craniectomy or craniotomy • Cranial vault reconstruction or other cranial surgery • Sill anomalies • Seizure disorders • Self-injurious behavior related to head banging, hair pulling, etc. • Instability secondary to poor balance and/or equilibrium reactions.

Note: A-Flex helmets must be purchased on a physician’s order and the helmets will not be shipped to end users unless they confirm that the helmet will be brought to a doctor for proper fitting and guidance.

Sizing: Measure head circumference.
Adult X-Small: 51-53 cm
