AliMed® Roll-Control Belt

AliMed® Roll-Control Belt keep the patient securely in bed, yet allow them to roll freely and even sit up, without causing false alarms. As soon as the patient tries to unfasten the belt, the alarm sounds. The patient must continue unfastening an additional 12″ of hook-and-loop belt before it is possible to get up, giving the caregiver time to respond. Belts are easy to release, yet they hinder the patient from getting out of bed. Roll-Control Belts have no weight requirements— they can be used with almost any patient.

CAUTION: These devices are not restraints! They are designed to be easily opened and removed by most patients. The determination as to the appropriateness of the Early Warning EZ Release Seatbelt, EZ Release Seatbelt, Buckled Seatbelt and Roll Control Belt with either hook-and-loop closure or with the quick-release seatbelt buckle for a specific patient is the responsibility of the facility and its professional and medical staff.

When it comes to fall monitoring, being able to quickly respond to patients before a fall occurs is critical. Roll-Control Belts sound early-warning alarms before the patient has an opportunity to get out of their bed or chair. Roll-Control Belts monitor restless, high-risk-fall patients, keeping them securely in bed while providing freedom of movement without causing false alarms. When the belt is initially unfastened, the alarm sounds as the patient continues to unhook 12 additional inches of belt before being able to get up for complete bed safety.
