AliMed® Sit-Straight™ Cushion w/Release Pommel

AliMed® Sit-Straight™ Wheelchair Cushion with Release Pommel has a pommel that conveniently drops out of the way for unhindered transfers. Simply pull the hook-and-loop strap to drop the pommel (which stays attached to strap so it won’t get lost) so the patient can scoot forward on the cushion, helping to increase the patient’s functional independence from sitting to standing. While in place, the built-in pommel controls hip adduction and forward sliding, making it great for those with windswept deformity or pelvic obliquity as the pommel helps keep hips and femurs aligned properly. Pommel is padded with a 1″ layer of soft Polyfoam for added comfort.

The integrated Solid Seat Insert™ (SSI) with convex base fills sagging wheelchair sling seats to create a stable, flat sitting surface. Black nylon incontinence cover with nonskid bottom and rear ties for secure attachment.
