AliMed® T-Gel™ Plus Checkerboard Wheelchair Cushion

AliMed® T-Gel™ Plus Checkerboard Wheelchair Cushion combines the benefits of T-Gel™ with slow-recovery T-Foam™ for even better pressure distribution and shear reduction. Low-profile top T-Gel layer is made of a soft, rubber-like elastomer gel that mimics skin-protecting fatty tissue, moving with the skin to minimize the effects of friction and shear while reducing the formation of pressure injuries. Independent checkerboard cells offer better reaction to patient movement and greater air circulation for maximum shear relief. Medium-resistance bottom T-Foam™ layer magnifies the positive effects of the gel by offering extra cushion to evenly allocate coccyx pressure. Alitane® envelope protects the T-Foam from incontinence. Cover options include Black Stretch Polyester Knit or durable Blue Ripstop Nylon that resists incontinence and stops punctures from becoming tears.
