FREEDOM® comfort™ Boxer’s Fracture Orthoses with MP Extension

FREEDOM® Comfort Boxers Fracture Orthoses with MP Extension for quick and efficient immobilization of common metacarpal fractures. MPs are positioned in extension. Rigid Kydex® shell immobilizes and protects fracture and surrounding joints. T-Foam™ padded liner ensures even further comfort, along with support and conformity to fracture volume. In difficult-to-fit instances, shell may be gently heated with heat gun and reshaped to accommodate swelling.

Indications and Usage: Best for uncomplicated fourth and fifth metacarpal fractures, including Boxer’s fracture. For more complex fractures, use for support once fracture has partially healed and some stability has been obtained.

Fitting: Adhesive-backed, pressure-sensitive padding is included with each orthosis to allow angular corrections to be made to fracture site.

Sizing: Measure circumference of hand at MPs.
Medium: 7″ to 9″
Large: 9″ to 10-1/2″
